Hyvor Talk, (us, we, our), operates the https://talk.hyvor.com website and provides commenting platform for websites.
Important! All and any information stored at Hyvor Talk is treated as strictly confidential. All information is stored securely and is accessed by qualified and authorized personnel only. We will not share any of your data with any third-party system.
In comments, users may link to other websites that Hyvor does not operate. Please review each of their privacy policies if you visit those links.
Information you provide to us when using Hyvor Talk
Note: Signup information (user data) is collected at Hyvor Auth, please refer to this to see how we use your signup information. Your Hyvor account will be used at all the services at Hyvor including Hyvor Talk.
1. Website Information
When webmasters add their website (example.com) to Hyvor Talk, we will ask them for the following information.
- Website Name: A name to identify their website.
- Website Domains: One or more domains that they wish to use Hyvor Talk.
2. Payment Information
For all the types of payments done when subscribing to paid plans, we use the secure service from paddle.com. Therefore, we will not be saving any credit card information, Paypal IDs, etc.

When setting up Single sign-on, the data you provide (name, picture, and email) of the user will be saved in our database. The name and picture will be used in comments. The email is only used to send email notifications to the user.
Website owner can request us to delete all the SSO information at any time.
Information we collect from client websites
A client website is a website that uses Hyvor Talk. The information we collect from those websites are minimal and listed here.
- Webpage URL - Used in the console and emails
- Webpage Identifier - Used to identify each webpage uniquely.
- User's visit time
- User's read status - whether the user scrolled down to read the comments or not.
Hyvor Talk does not place any tracking, advertising, affiliate, or any third-party codes on client websites. All of the above data is collected by our system.
When commenting on websites
When someone publish a comment (guest, hyvor, or SSO) on a website, the current IP address of the user will be saved. It is used to ban spammers by IP address when needed.
Information we collect when you use our website
These data will be collected automatically when using the following types of pages in Hyvor Talk.
- Landing Pages
- Console - Where webmasters moderate comments
- Home - Where users see their comments
We may collect information about how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
- authsess - Used to save the login state across all subdomains of hyvor.com. This is set by auth.hyvor.com when logging in.
- talksess - Used to save reaction status and guest commenting data. This cookie is only used at talk.hyvor.com.
We use HTTPS/TLS encryption to protect data transferred between you and our site. All of your data is stored safely on our databases and always backed up on external servers that we own. Therefore, we guarantee the safety of your stored data. However, the data transferred through the internet is not always completely safe. You are responsible for taking appropriate actions to secure your account.

We will let you know about your account, security, policy, and service updates through email. You cannot unsubscribe from these emails.
2. Non-administrative Emails
Non-administrative emails include the following.
- Personal emails such as comment replies, mentions, etc.

You can unsubscribe from these emails anytime by visiting the "unsubscribe" or "change email settings" link at the bottom of each email.
All the service providers mentioned here are only used in our website (landing pages, console, etc.) and never used in client websites that use Hyvor Talk

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Live Chat: Tidio
We would like to help you and all visitors of our website with questions as quickly as possible. For this purpose we use the Tidio Chat from Tidio Ltd. (UK) and Tidio LLC (USA), which you can click at any time on the bottom right of each page and get in touch with us.
